When this Kaimuki hidden gem opened in 2006, it sold handmade jewelry alongside acai bowls and smoothies, hence the name.
Turns out, the hottest selling items were the consumable ones, so the baubles were phased out.
Jewel or Juice’s acai bowls are consistently good.
Its regular acai bowl comes with organic acai blended with strawberries, organic apple juice and local bananas. The bowls are generously drizzled with honey, making the sliced local bananas, kiwis and strawberries glisten like sweet, tasty jewels underneath.
