Last year Doraku Sushi opened a second location, this time in the Pacific Honolulu building on Kapiolani Boulevard. (Its first location at the Royal Hawaiian Center opened in 2008.)
This space is bigger — about 6,000 square feet with two levels — and the deals better.
Happy hour prices start at $3 for beer and $5 for food items like salmon Carpaccio, beef tataki, chicken karaage and steak skewers.
ORDER THIS: One of the most popular dishes here is the Doraku tuna (ahi) tataki with julienne daikon (radish) and sweet onions and topped with a ponzu sauce, crispy garlic chips and a garlic aioli.
