For the twice-monthly "Stars & Guitars" program, Planetarium Director Mike Shanahan is your co-pilot on a guided tour of Hawaii's nighttime sky with live classical guitar to set the mood. Selections range from Bach to bossa nova. Constellations and nebulae never sounded so good!
Weather permitting, the show concludes with an open-air session on the observation deck and a chance to look through the observatory's 12.5-inch diameter telescope.
