Chef Thomas Fuquay, and his wife, Alicia’s, award-winning burgers and breakfasts blend southern roots with island flavors. 

Thomas won the Tasting Kauai Coconut Cook Off, where judge Sam Choy scored his Kauai shrimp and coconut grits a perfect 10. 

After that, Yelp reviewers voted Nom in their Top 100. 

Part of what makes their food so great, is that burgers are made with grass-fed beef raised about five miles away. 

The Woody is topped with a crispy tangle of slivered onions, cheddar cheese, fresh jalapeño slices and barbecue sauce.

 Chicken and Waffles are topped with pineapple bourbon butter and the Saturday breakfast special is house-made biscuits with sausage gravy.
