The 20th annual He Hali a Aloha No Lili‘oukalani (a cherished memory of the queen) is a celebration commemorating the birthday of the Queen Lili‘oukalani.

The event takes place in Lili‘oukalani Gardens on the first Saturday after the queen’s birthday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The one-day event features hundreds of dancers performing hula in unison in the queen’s honor, live entertainment, craft demonstrations, taiko drummers, a tea ceremony, Hawaiian games, activities for children, and local island fare.

Admission is free.

Lili‘oukalani Gardens, a 24.5-acre oasis on the Waiakea peninsula, is a county park, open at no charge year-round.
